Light Analysis: Ideas in the Closed Spanish

This post focuses on another game from the Lichess League 45+45, played on the second board. The game features the Spanish opening and there are several points what make it interesting and instructive, especially for those who want to study the Spanish. As in the King’s Indian analysis post, I will concentrate on bringing out moments which can be seen as ideas or plans. Idea-based opening study is something I am working on myself and it concentrates on building the infrastructure of opening memorization on ideas rather than variations.

As the reader can see, I skipped the endgame part. Well, perhaps next time I should look at an endgame! Thank you for reading and until next time.
